Leveraging calling intentions into organizational intentions: The objective of the Blue Marsh Project is to share knowledge and increase awareness about the current conditions of the Bay Area saltwater marshes. We created an organization aiming to restore these unsafe salt ponds back into natural wetlands, which not only protects native wildlife such as the endangered harvest mouse, but also acts as flood protection for the communities living nearby. BMP seeks to bring awareness and positive change to these projects by connecting locals to these projects. The goal of the Blue Marsh Project is to regenerate, protect, and preserve the marshes in the Bay Area.
